At our next MEETING, on SUNDAY, SEPT. 23, 3-5:00 PM in the NELSON HOUSE in POWELL, the slate of nominees for positions opening up on the Leadership Team will be introduced. In addition, nominations WILL ALSO BE TAKEN FROM MEMBERS. Officer positions of Chair, Vice Chair, Secretary, Treasurer, Membership, Programs, and Communications are 2-year terms and several of these terms are now open for re-election or replacement.
Voting is restricted to our paid members and methods of voting will be discussed. The Sept. 23 gathering will also give us a chance to discuss actions to be taken in anticipation of the November mid-term elections, such as voter registration and candidate meet and greets. There will be a time for announcements, as well.
