Climate Solutions For Wyoming.

Is carbon dividend plan good for Wyoming citizens?

Wyoming Rising invites you to explore a bipartisan climate solution for Wyoming. Bill Barron, Rocky Mountain Regional Director of the Citizen’s Climate Lobby will discuss HR763, The Energy Innovation and Climate Dividend Act, and how it could help Wyoming Citizens with the uncertainties of our changing energy economy.

Barron will describe the plan and discuss the international and national free market policy implications for the plan. CCL seeks solutions that contribute to our smoothest possible ride in the coming decades of energy transitions.

Barron is a carpenter by trade, outdoorsman and father who believes that communities will grow best with sound policies like HR763, made possible through the political will of the people. He will speak to the political landscape in DC, and how this Act could bridge the gap between reducing greenhouse gas emissions while returning dividends to the people to use as they see fit. Learn how HR763 fits on the national landscape and and find ways that you can build community while promoting conservation if you think it’s time to cultivate community preparedness.

On Monday, Feb 3, from 7-8:30 pm at the Heart Mountain Interpretive Center (Rd 19, Powell Highway),

Sponsored by Wyoming Rising and the Wyoming chapter of Citizens’ Climate Lobby (CCL). CCL and Wyoming Rising are volunteer, non-profit, nonpartisan organizations with members through the United States. CCL advocates for effective climate legislation. Wyoming Rising advocates for education and action on environmental protection.
