Braver Angels of Wyoming and Montana Offer Workshops This Week

Understanding the miracle of human cooperation and the curse of eternal division.

— from Kris Korfanta, Wyoming State Braver Angels Coordinator

The event below, which offers registration for either of two Zoom discussions, is a followup to Wyoming Rising’s community conversation on Jonathan Haight’s book and our screening of the Better Angels workshop. They’ve changed their name to Braver Angels and have organized a Wyoming/Montana chapter.

The next online discussion, with Braver Angels of Wyoming and Montana will center on concepts from Johnathan Haidt’s book, The Righteous Mind: Why Good People Are Divided By Politics and Religion. We need the insights of liberals, conservatives and libertarians to flourish as a nation, starting with our own willingness to learn and appreciate our differences.

Please join us at one of our two sessions

The first Wyoming-Montana Braver Angels event, last week was attended by over 24 people from southern Wyoming to northern Montana!. If you missed, or would like to re-watch last week’s video clip, here is the link: https://braverangels.org/finding-common-ground-in-ohio/

“We are not enemies, but friends. We must not be enemies. Though passion may have strained it must not break our bonds of affection. The mystic chords of memory, stretching from every battlefield and patriot grave to every living heart and hearthstone all over this broad land, will yet swell the chorus of the Union, when again touched, as surely they will be, by the better angels of our nature.”
– Abraham Lincoln
