Shoshone National Forest Travel Management Plan Preliminary Assessment Released

Last week the Shoshone National Forest released its Preliminary Environmental Assessment of three alternatives for updating its public motorized use map. The Shoshone National Forest will hold a series of virtual public meetings to review plan options and answer questions.

These meetings will be hosted via the online communication platform Microsoft Teams; individuals may attend the meetings via the web-based platform and do not need to download the application to their computers. If you are unable to attend the meetings at the scheduled times, recordings will be posted on the Shoshone National Forest website at as well as on Facebook (
