Did you know there is a proposed constitutional amendment on the ballot? The proposal is to separate residential property from commercial & industrial properties as a way to provide future property tax reform. Sounds good, doesn’t it? But there are downsides: many municipalities depend on residential property tax in order to provide services (roads, fire, police, schools, etc.).
