HB0275: Treatment of Animals
Summary:
Related to the crime of animal cruelty, running down animals with motorized vehicles, prohibiting torture of wildlife, specifying penalties, among them resulting in a felony. It reiterates fines as well as clarifying trapping requirements. Up to 6 bills related to the wolf incident are being considered.

Status: on 1/23/25 the bill was referred to the Travel, Recreation, Wildlife & Cultural Resources Committee for consideration.

HB118: Limitations  on net land gains for the Federal Government.
Summary:
It was introduced by Rep. Dalton Banks of Powell from Dist.26. This bill would limit conveyances, exchanges and sales of land to prohibit the Federal Government of net increase of public land in Wyoming. Read a longer summary at: wyomingoutdoorcouncil.org
