HB0164: Medical Prescriptions Off-Label Purposes

Summary:
HB164 prohibits doctors from prescribing medications for off-label uses that pertain to abortions. Off-label usage of drugs is safe, when prescribed by a doctor, and is used quite commonly. HB164 is targeting abortion for the sake of targeting it and contains no medical reasoning.

HB0250: Defining life and the rights of natural persons.

Summary:
This sneaky bill is attempting to subvert Wyoming’s constitutional provision that gives each person in Wyoming control over his/her own health care by designating a fetus as a “person” under the law.

Partial text of bill: “For purposes of interpretation and construction under the Wyoming constitution and all statutes of this state, the following shall apply:

(1) All individual persons are living human beings entitled to protection of their health. This right is a fundamental right entitled to full protection under the Wyoming constitution;

(2) When applicable to an individual person, “person” is someone who possesses at least one (1) of the following: Heart function; Respiratory system function; Central nervous system function; Brain function; Skeletal development or function; Joint or muscle appendage development; Organ function;

(3) No parent, guardian or legal representative of any other person shall make health care decisions causing harm to the functions specified [above].”
