Keep Families Together: Daily Vigils in Cody and Powell
June 29, 2018 @ 12:00 pm - 1:00 pm
Compassionate members of our community oppose the unjustified separation of families along the U.S. border with Mexico and at other ports of entry into the U.S. We protest the laws under which asylum seekers are detained. We call for the 2,300 children in detention to be immediately returned to their parents. We oppose the inhumane policies of the Trump Administration, Border Patrol, and I.C.E. and call for immediate reform.
The people of Northwest Wyoming are standing together in a silent vigil every noon hour from Monday June 25 to Friday June 29 in Cody and in Powell
Powell: Southside of Coulter Ave. on the corner of Bent St.
Cody: Northwest corner of the intersection of 16th Street and Sheridan Ave.
Please bring signs to hold and consider wearing a yellow wristband in solidarity.
