Public Lands Day ~ Beartooth Ranch CleanUp
September 28 @ 9:00 am - 12:00 pm
Come celebrate Wyoming Public Lands Day by cleaning up the Beartooth Ranch!
The Beartooth Ranch is 657 acres of public land of curious history located along the Clarks Fork River. Meet at Cody Coffee (Station – Location:919 16th St. Cody, WY just past Walgreens) at 9am we will carpool and drive out to the ranch together [The drive is about 30 min].
Upon arriving at Beartooth Ranch we will split into groups to install bear boxes with BLM and Wyoming Game & Fish; put in fishing line recycle stations with Trout Unlimited; and pull weeds with Park County Weed & Pest. We’ll aim to complete around noon and celebrate over lunch. With world-class fishing, prime wildlife habitat, and long dirt roads please feel free to bring a fly rod, binoculars or your gravel bike to enjoy YOUR public land for the rest of the afternoon.
